Answer» Hi, I bought a package Acer computer with Windows Vista 6.0(now service pack 1) ALREADY installed. I want to low level format my hard drive though. How can I do this and re-install Windows without having a Windows CD. I do not have an option to create a recovery CD on Windows, but surely SIMPLY a recovery CD alone could not restore the whole of windows after a reformat? There must be some WAY of keeping Windows after all I did pay for it.... Any help would be much appreciated.Check Acer's site for instructions on creating a bootable Vista CD...
