I have started reformatting my PC with Windows XP Sp2... it went well at start and then a message telling that it could not continue because of a missing file and has to reboot...
After reboot...it tells that

NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

it just repeats after doing so...anyone out there who could help?
im not a so much of a computer genius, i just rely on somebody telling me what do next...please help..thanksHow far did you get in the format?
It could be caused by a dirty CD or CD drive.Ava024 - Welcome to the CH forums.

Are you formatting your hard drive when the error condition arises or are you trying to re-INSTALL your Operating System?

Sometimes you can make a copy of the install DISK and when the original
did not work...the copy will. I use BlindWrite. See the below link.
