A virus came on my pc. I did a system restore and my ErrorSmart that I just got was gone. The program list in control panel shows ErrorSmart but it won't let me remove it so I can't reinstall it. Any advice on how to remove the program and then reinstall it.

Darrel Listing in Add\Remove may be just leftover. Just reinstall. It won't hurt anything.You should just be able to download the installer again and it will reinstall.I have tried to reinstall and reload the program but it stops short of letting me do it. Keeps telling me in a message the OLD ErrorSmart cannot be removed. I deleted all files relating to ErrorSmart from search and still nothing works. The company said to disable MSCONFIG. How do you do that?
ThanksGo Start>Run, type in:
msconfig
Click OK.
Click on Startup tab, and see, if ErrorSmart is listed there.
If so, remove checkmark next to it.
Restart computer, and try installation again.
Thanks Broni for your help but there was no ErrorSmart on msconfig. Im going to get to the bottom of this maybe with all of your help lol. I have removed all files for ErrorSmart and I have tried to reinstall and install a new ErrorSmart. Nothing so far. What is bugging me is that I cannot remove the ErrorSmart program from the Add/remove on control panel. I have no icons on my desktop and nothing in the tray. What do you think I should do? Just give up or any other suggestions. Im all ears.
