http://www.sysinternals.com/blog/2005/10/registry-junk-windows-fact-of-life.htmlInteresting INDEED. Me personally i FAITHFULLY use Total Uninstall as it has served me very well over the years. And in my personal opinion i have FOUND that Registry Cleaners in the HANDS of everyday users can be quite destructive...but that's what keeps the Customers coming back so oh well...
patio. 8-)Fortunately, there are some good freeware registry cleaners, such as Eusing Free Registry Cleaner.I had a Registry Of over 40 Megs once , i tyred a reg Cleaner on it , and It just Crashed ^.^, at this time in my Computer Experience i had Decided that any Problem could be Fixed without Reinstalling Windows... therefor i had like a 5 year old install that worked.. it just had some leftovers..
Its True tho you can Fix anyproblem , its just not always Tidy..I always export a copy of the full registry before running any such software, and even before installing new software, but maybe i'm too cautious?
