Answer» evry time i TRY to start my MACHINE it gives me a blue screen right at the end of the loading splashscreen. it says: Code: [SELECT]STOP: c0000218 {Registry File FAILURE} The registry cannot load the hive (File): \SystemRoot\system32\config\SOFTWARE or its log, or alternate. It it corrupt, absent, or not writable. and it contimues with a dump message. The machine is dell "latitude" laptop AVG FreeWindows version? Did it just start happening?
