Solve : Registry error when uninstalling Symantec Client Security? |
|
Answer» Back home my BROTHER tried to uninstall Symantec Client Security from a desktop running XP, but was unable to find an easy way to do so. He followed a set of instructions online that had him make changes to the registry. Unfortunately, one of these changes messed something up, and now every time I right-click on an icon in a folder/desktop, an installation wizard for Symantec comes up. The right-click menu will not show up until I cancel the installation.
