Answer» I have a friend that I have tried to install the avast antivirus program on her computer. The program installs ok but cannot be used because the MESSAGE appears that msvcr7.dll cannot be found and this problem might be repaired by reinstalling this file. How do I REINSTALL this file. She has a DELL computer with windows xp home edition on it. Thanks for any help? Also can I do this without having to buy some high priced software program? avast has a WEB forum that might help you better with this dilemma!!
