Answer» I removed a hard DISK from my PC in the office and brought it home to USE it on my PC but my password is not accepted.I cannot log in using the password i use in the office. My PC in the office is setup on the network. Will that have any thing to do with this? It will depend on the SOFTWARE your using to protect. Need more details like: Which Operating System are you using on the hard DRIVE? What software is used to password protect, is it Windows or a stronger software? Is it the entire hard drive encrypted or just like a Windows password?I am using Windows XP SP2. There is no software used to protect password, its only windows. The hard drive is not encripted.
