Answer» i SEEM to have collected an inordinate amount of context menu items which i donit use and are just annoying how can i edit these. i understand it requires modifying multiple reg ENTRIES. is there an easier way? thankswell i found an internet solution which was to go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers which worked but there are some registry entries which are not the name of the progrm abut letters and numbers how do i FIND out what they are? In program itself, you can only disable (not delete) context menu entry. That's why, I like ShellExView: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html better.
