Keep in mind when asking for help we can't SEE your machine from here... The more details the better.internat.exe is installed with Windows and is a process to provide Microsoft's multi-lingual features in Microsoft Windows. This process puts the language selection icon in the traybar. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.
2. Note: internat.exe could also be also a process which is registered as the Win32.Lydra.a information stealing Trojan. This Trojan allows attackers to ACCESS your computer, personal data and information. This process is a security risk and should be removed from your system.
Determining whether internat.exe is a virus or a LEGITIMATE Windows process depends on the directory location it executes or runs from. Where are you removing it from?
If it is malware, I am not allowed to advise you. Please ask in malware section. It's in the "System" folder. What "system" folder? Do you mean C:\Windows\System ?
Are you running Windows 98?
No, just "System". I would've put "System32" if that's what it was in.
And I'm using Windows ME.The malware file resides in the Windows folder.
The genuine Microsoft internat.exe provides support for Microsoft multi-lingual features and resides in the System folder (w98,98se,ME) You can go to Start/Run and type in msconfig and hit Enter...under the "Startup" tab see if it is LISTED there...if so un-check it and re-boot. This will prevent it from loading on startup without removing it.It isn't in the startup. Why do you want to remove it? That's THE question...I'm thinking dental right about now...As always, you're right ....hmmm...let's say, in all dental cases....LOL
