Running XP, SP3.
I'm just having a nose around on my system, and clearing out any unwanted files and folders.
When l go into the add/remove programs option there are THREE ENTRIES, with no sizes shown, and l don't know whether to delete them or not. I also haven't a clue as to what they are.......
Microsoft COMPRESSION client pack 1.0 for windows xp
Microsoft user-mode driver framework feature pack 1.0
Microsoft visual c++ 2005 redistributable
To remove or not to remove, that is the question.I don't have those 3 programs. Btw how did you get those 3 download them? or windows updates.Since these are M$ programs, I'd leave them alone.Thanks Broni, will do.
Kingpincer, l have no idea! I think they appeared when l received the update of SP3 from SP2, but don't qoute me on that. However they should all be on the MS update site.
Regards WTCI agree with him to these are ms programs so leave them alone.
