Solve : Renaming the folder list?

Answer»

Just wondering how I would do this.
I have the trial version of microsoft office 2003.
I have tried to change this but can't.

Any tips on how I could do so?What folder list? Try to be a little more specific on what you are trying to do and why.  I recently bought a copy of microsoft office overseas.  But it's in thai!   I uninstalled and found a trial of microsoft office 2003 and have downloaded that.  But when opening up the outlook for emails I have quite a few folders that are WRITTEN in thai that I would like to rename.
But everytime I go to do so it SAYS that I don't have permission to do so and that it's a special folder.
If I right click on the folder in the folder list and go to properties...the name of the folder is highlighted but I am unable to edit it.
If you need anymore INFO I am glad to give it.

KirstyOk i think those folders might Be Read only to you.

If you could change the Rights you could fix it , but im not sure how to do that in out look

I would Try to either Copy all the files form your old Thai folder into a new English folder
Or Export them all , and then Reimport them.

Which folders exactly are you trying to change?  Are you seeing them in Outlook or Windows Explorer?

You may be able to resolve this issue by finding your .pst file (probably under the hidden folder "Application Data" under your user profile) and deleting it.  Doing so would cause you to lose all saved EMAIL, CONTACTS, appointments, etc.  So you may wish to export those first.
