Solve : Reset power supply??

Answer»

Older HP a206x with Celeron processor.  Will not POER up.  Reset button? Circuit breaker?  Computer was on standby for about a month.  Will not power up.  Turned off with front power button; no response at all.  Is there a reset button or fuse?  Mother board dead??? How to test?
This is not a WINDOWS issue, its a hardware issue.

Have your power supply tested or replace it.Hmm.. You should NEVER keep your computer on for a mounth, it sounds to me like it's got a virus for a mounth, you need to get a new power supply. Quote from: Helper4789 on October 08, 2009, 12:14:13 PM

What are you talking about? Some people never turn off their systems, and that's just fine. And you SAY you think he's had a virus for a month so he should get a new power supply?other then reboots for updates I leave my computer on for years. He MAY need a new power supply but it's not becasue he left a machine on for a month.

maybe this is a power supply issue. try to replace it and test that to another computer (if you have)..
