Answer» HI All, we have a sharp x500 point of sale pc, unfortunatley it froze and when restarted it now REQUIRES a user name and password. before it just booted straight in. unfortunatley it does not have a cd drive and strangeley enough on boot up i cannot get it to go to bios to use a usb crack to clear teh password, i have tried all the usual combos of keys to get to bios and tried every password i can think of to get into windows.It has a PHOENIX bios as i see that flick by. if you PRESS the esc on boot up it briefly says SETUP AVAILABLE but i cant get any key to do anything.If the problem is a bios password, we cannot help you. Sorry. But if it's the administrator password, just do a Google search for "lost administrator password"
