Solve : Resolution Error - Not Support Mode? |
|
Answer» Hey guys, IM new here and was lloking for help This happened 5 minutes ago. I booted up my computer, as usual, its a 3.4Ghz Dual Core Processing computer that has been working excellently and a Daytek 19" screen. so what happened was that i right-clicked on my desktop and went to properties. from there i went to the tab that allows me to change my resolution settings. And then i accidently set the resolution too high and the screen went black and the Monitor said: "Not Support Mode". I am using windows xp professional and would like to KNOW how to change my resolution while not being able to even acces my login screen. it boots up and goes to the windows loading screen then goes to Not Suppport mode again. Thanks so much for helping me guys! I am now able to acces my computer regularly by uninstalling the drivers. but now i have another problem. Icons in the taskbar are all pixelly and ugly and i have thin black borders around my screen. i have already auto configued the screen. if you could help i would really appreciate it.You did reinstall the drivers??? It seems so, but you did not specifically say you have done that.Sorry, I don't know what it is, nor do i know how to enable/disable it. Please fill me in Hmm, how did you install it if you don't know what it is? Anyway, right click on My Computer, select Properties, select the Hardware tab, and then click on Device Manager. You should see an item called Display adapters. Click on the + sign NEXT to it to display the sub-title under it. What is that sub-title named? Most likely, it will start with NVIDIA or ATI, followed by the model of your display adapter. And, while you're in Device Manager, does it show any yellow triangles with exclamation marks inside? No problems with my devices I am using NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GT/GTO and i figured out what cleartype was and enabled it. didn't help. |
