okay so i turn on my computer about 2 weeks ago and for some reason my resolution is *censored* up. i dont know HOE to fix it and it slows down my computer greatly. how do i solve the problem?FIRST thing .....have you scanned you pc for malware ?

Have you tried going into the control panel / display and changing it to what it was ?

Be sure and notice the video adaper in Control Panel/System/Device Manager. Is what is showing correct for your machine?It's probably due to a corrupted driver.
Download and run [highlight]Aida32[/highlight]. This will tell you what graphics card is installed and therefore, which drivers you need.Call me an old fogey, but what's with this "crappity smacked" jargon?

If Backdated's suggestion does not resolve this, when you come back could you please provide more info about EXACTLY how the resolution is smackety crapped?Go to Start/Settings/Crappity Smacked and install  I tried that and my computer actually LAUGHED at me.   LOL you tried it? Are you serious?!
