Answer» HI can anyone help have ADVENT 7104 and need to restore to factory settings to the day i bought it seem to have lost lots of stuff on it and nothing works WINDOWS has GONE no internet nothing please help and lost xp home disc can i do this myself without any discsYou're going to need a recovery disk or an XP disk. If you don't have either of those you're going to have to try to repair this one. Can you boot in safe mode? Keeping hitting F8 when the computer is booting.You can get recovery CD here: http://support.thetechguys.com//recoverymedia/cant do f8 or f10 so looks like discsonce i use recovery cd will windows xp be BACK on it and all of windows or do i have to get them aswellThe computer will be returned to the day one status. Whatever came preinstalled will be there. Of course, all you data will be lost. |
