Answer» Hi,
I have a 100gb hard drive that has been partitioned, but I want to restore the partitioned area BACK.
So one partition is 80gb and assigned to drive letter G. The other partition is 20gb and assigned letter H.
How do I get the 20gb partition back to the G drive, so it gets to its original 100gb size. Do I simply go to disk management and delete the 20gb partition?
ThanksYou will need to use a third-party partition manager which has the capability to join two partitions into one WITHOUT loss of data. One such program is Paragon Partition Manager.
Such programs are regularly given away for free on computer magazine dvd's and you can SURELY also download them on the net, if you have broadband, EVEN if only on a trial basis. LONG enough to do what you need!
Beware of using freeware or shareware partition managers. There are no good ones. Stick with a reputable name brand.OK. I'll give it a go.
