I installed unactivated version of windows7 professional for a trial. i need to get back the activated genunie windows7 home basic using recovery partition. F11 was the key to start the recovery procedure. Hit F11 during startup, before Windows starts loading. If you created any files while using the Win 7 Professional trial that you want to keep, be sure to save them to a flash drive or external drive before running the recovery since it will completely erase the HARD drive and install the OS and all software as originally configured.
