Answer»

Hello there

on a standard account how can you RESTRICT access to certain folders.
I do have a administrator account, but i also use a standard account, and just wondered if i could protect folders, "text docs" "wordpad docs"  etc

Windows VISTA home premium.Learn how to use NTFS permissions..

here's a little something to get you started:

http://cc.jlab.org/docs/services/windows/ntfs_permissions.html

In Windows Vista, if you click on the Start button, and then click on "Help and Support", you could do a SEARCH for NTFS permissions, as well..

ARR Yes i had completly forgot about "help and support" thanks.

Yes there's a bit of reading to understand how permissions WORK, but it does not look that difficult to understand.
I've just RESTRICTED access to certain folders on the standard account, but i'll have to read alot moe into it.
