before installing windows xp on my system i copied all my files that i wanted saved to DISK...now that my system is up and going i want to put my files back on...when i do this thou they won't copy from the disk to my harddrive....pls help.Try This...trecar .... Perhaps you could tell us what occurs when you attempt to move them onto the hard drive? Are the files in question things like pictures, music and that sort of thing?
Tell us in DETAIL, how you are trying to move them.

dl65  i tried first to just drag and drop copying...said invalid file....then tried to copy from the menu and same effect...i did have some success with the anyreader program but did not work with photos...even when moved to the harddrive with the anyreader adobe photoshop still couldnt open them.  hope that explained it a bit betterIs there another PC you can try these CD's on?  Perhaps the problem is with the CD's and not your computer.If the CD was not finalised after burning this will occur...DLoad and install ISOBUSTER to seee if you are ABLE to retrieve your data.Nice program, patio.  I was actually just getting ready to look for this sort of program.  Your psychic powers come in handy once again.  Thanks for that.You're more than Welcome, Chris.
