Answer» Hi Guys, have Zoostorm pc with windows 7 preinstalled no actual disc ,I might have a virus on my pc in the PAST if all else failed I would have reformatted the hard DRIVE and started again but now the soft WARE has its own recovery system which is supposed to take it back to how it came to me but will this work if there is a virus on it? thanks ,jabbaUnless it is a boot sector virus (which is relatively rare) yes, returning to as-shipped will eliminate the infection.It should be FINE...look up the Factory Restore info at the manuf. site... Done properly it wipes the entire drive (C:\) and restores the PC to Day 1 status... Note: You will lose all data and installed apps in this...so backup ACCORDINGLY.
