Answer» Hi,
I seem to have a problem with SOMETHING called "RmMetadata" The files are located on my external hard drive and are always being used. It MEANS I can never Safely Remove my Hard drive. When I run handle.exe to see what processes are using the hard drive I get the following OUTPUT:
Handle v3.42 Copyright (C) 1997-2008 Mark Russinovich Sysinternals - www.sysinternals.com
System pid: 4 274: I:\$Extend\$RmMetadata\$TxfLog\$TxfLog.blf System pid: 4 1F94: I:\$Extend\$RmMetadata\$TxfLog\$TxfLogContainer00000000000000000001 System pid: 4 3A6C: I:\$Extend\$RmMetadata\$TxfLog\$TxfLogContainer00000000000000000002 System pid: 4 3B4C: I:\$Extend\$RmMetadata\$Txf
I was wondering If any ONE knows anything about these files and how I could change the location of them? or if I can delete them safely?
The files are only used by WINDOWS Vista I can safely remove the hard drive when using a Windows XP machine.
Thanks
Mark
