Answer» Hi All...
Could someone help me with this??
Whenever I boot up, I get this> "RUNNER ERROR" it says Invalid Backweb Application ID "137903"
Windows etc...loads just fine, I've run avg, zonealarm, ewido on startup...so I'm confident it isn'e related to SPYWARE etc?
I bet there is a SIMPLE solution to getting rid of this annoying error MESSAGE on startup that I have no clue about...
Any Solutions will be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!
Snowshooz~*This web page appears to answer your question.Backweb is used by a lot of software COMPANIES for updating but its widely thought of as spyware.OK.....So I went to msconfig, found the HP update ,nchecked the box...restarted...the Runner ERROR was Gone! BUT...now I have a box popping up every time I restart saying either I changeit BACK to "normal startup" (with HP update checked) OR I'll NEED to restart msconfig EVERYTIME I startup..
Now what?
