1.	Solve : Safe Mode password.?
Answer» XP Home. Way back in the GOOD old days some VERSIONS of XP would not permit access to Safe Mode WITHOUT an admin password. Regardless of what password was ENTERED (EVEN leaving it blank) access was denied. A Registry Edit to stop being asked for a password was posted by one of the 'Geek' sites but darned if I can find it now. Any ideas where it is shown please? Thank you. All installs of P that I have done would allow a blank for the administrator password, unless I had explicitly set it to a non-blank value. On the search box in the upper right of this page enter the words password reset and search and find many prior posts on this topic.
