Solve : Safe Mode / Scanreg? |

Answer» My sister has Windows ME. When trying to start up the computer, it attempts to start up in Safe Mode because of some SORT of registry error. It SAYS to run 'scanreg' to fix it but it doesn't show the 'Start' BUTTON in the bottom left corner so I can't get to the point I need to be to run scanreg. Any suggestions? start up using F8 but instead of choosing safe mode, choose restart in MS-DOS mode. |
