I have had a new graphics card out in - nvidia Geforce FX5500 and I have installed a new driver, but no change! I'm going NUTS and don't understand too much computer jargon, so please be gentle with response content! thanksAny previous problems? Other system specs? Operating system? Need help finding specs or OS just askNo other problems before now, but then not used PC to play many games. I think most details regard OS etc are in CONTROL Panel - systems? What spec to you need? Do other games work? Is it just a problem with 3D applications or does it happen with other programs too?Difficult to say if they play OK cos you can't see very much, however, they look fine. Only happened on these two particupar games, which I assume are 3d applicatinss, but not sure how I would know?Try Changing the Screen Resolution.. or change the brightness of the monitor.. I have nvidia Geforce FX5500 and it works great with Polar Express and Simms 2 and NFS Monst Wanted and etc.. and i have a slower computer then the one that you have.. and they work great.. Or try another thing go to the NVIDIA Control Panel and adjust the settings.. with the colors and the display.. thats what i did.. i remember now.. so yeah try that.

Yes, games are generally 3d applications So other games are fine? Strange.... Try Maksim's advice and check the settings in the nVidia control panel Also, check the nVidia website to see if there is an updated driver, that might solve your problem Finally, check the in-game settings (if you can see them) and play around with the display settings, see if that helps
