Solve : Screen resolution keeps changing after restart?

I'm having trouble with the resolution on a computer. The problem is after doing a repair installation it's screen resolution changes from what it is set, to another setting. Even after setting it and applying the setting it would change on REBOOT. I'm going to try to install the windows updates and the latest video card driver and SEE if that solves it.

Any other ideas would MUCH APPRECIATED.

Good idea.

Also, are you sure that you're selecting a resolution that is supported by your monitor?
