There is no sound for songs and videos.Hi there, Looks like that some drivers aren't enabled for the computer's hardware. IF you are not experienced with installing drivers and If your friend's computers has still an active internet connection, I would recommend to download a little program called Drivermax (http://drivermax.com/). You will have to create an account for free, then Drivermax can detect your Computer's hardware and will download and install the right drivers for you.
Cheers!DO NOT use any 3rd party driver apps. To install drivers just go to the website of the various hardware manufacturers, download the current driver, and install it.
Look in device manager - are there any yellow or red symbols?
When you say you installed SP2, does that mean you did a new install or just upgraded to sp2? And why not sp3?I had a windows xp disc with sp 2 integrated into it.the cpu is of pcs SYSTEM and monitor is of samsung where can i find the drivers for them?Go to the website of the computer manufacturer or the motherboard manufacturer for the chipset driver. Go to the websites of the manufacturers of the video card, sound card, ethernet card, etc for their drivers. How to findout which motherboard is installed and about the video card and driver manufacturers. I've found the other 2 more accurate when it comes to ID'ng MBoard info...The Everest program is 6 years old & is no longer supported. It has been replaced with Aida64 which is not free. However, it may work fine on an older motherboard. It is an MSI motherboard. MANUFACTURED by msi and the vendor is intel. Where to search msi or intel website? This information was given by speccy. MSI site...Ok. I will search MSI website. Now the problem is solved. Thanks guys.Kewl...
