1.	Solve : screen will not come on during boot up?
Answer» IBM Thinkpad X21, was working fine, today on startup, I get momentary screens/info during normal startup, then just a black screen, have tried RESTARTING several times by 'crashing'/hitting start button, it's the same every time, and as I can't access my 'help section' I turned to this FORUM for assistance/help. I wondered if a KEY on the F line might have been pushed by mistake that could have shut down the screen?I believe the computer boots correctly as it 'sounds' LIKE it has gone through a normal startup. Any ideas? SqueakSorry all, figured out the problem, I have some kind of 'short' in the wiring between the laptop and the screen, by jiggling/opening/closing the screen it came on and is now working....I think it's time for a new laptop!!
