Solve : screensaver will not start?

1.	Solve : screensaver will not start?
Answer» Does ANYONE know why my screensaver starts for about 2-3 seconds and then the screen goes black. it is as if there is something blocking it. I am running WINDOWS Vista with Windows Professional Academic.
