I keep getting a small pop up box appearing on my screen stating - 'Microsoft windows search INDEXER stopped working and was closed'
What does this mean and how can I fix it?Check it out...

Many people, including myself, have Indexing Service disabled, because it SLOWS computer down.
Many people, including myself, don't even use Windows Search, which is little bit crappy.
Some use Google Desktop search. I use Super Finder:

Belatedly - THANKS both, I've simply removed the search facility as advised and no longer suffer the annoying 'pop up' boxes.I'm glad, you GOT it fixed
