Answer» I use Tune up which seems to work well. Unfortunately one of the speeding up options was to disable the search facilty. I want it BACK now but I don't know how to do it. Sounds like 1 of those NEBULOUS BS APPS...Start/control panel, select classic view, administrative tools, COMPONENT SERVICES, services local now maximize window scroll down to windows search and right click select properties. It will probably say disabled on the start up type, left click it and select automatic, apply, O.K. Hope it works now.
