Answer» I would like to be able to send emails from my comp like "Quick Mailer"... Ive used countless smtp server programs "MiniRelay" with no luck, It seems I'm doing something wrong because none of them work... So you only need an SMTP client. What's up with Thunderbird? does thuderbird have smtp i downloaded thunderbirdportable but have the same issues.... Quote QuoteSo you only need an SMTP client. What's up with Thunderbird? The portable apps are designed to be what they are CALLED ...portable apps. For running off a thumb drive etc. I've noticed this isn't the only app you have referred to as running so i guess my QUESTION would be why are you not running full VERSIONS of the apps you want to run right ? ?yes I have about 60+ programs on a 60 pocket hdd, I use several different computers so i have little use for programs that are not somewhat portable.... I thought this would be simple maybe I should just keep with yahoo, its not a big deal just something to mess around with. I picked up on it somewhere and tinker with it every now and then... If the portable apps that is interfering I can download and install if needed... Im cautious about installing anything because SPAMWARE ect... |
