Solve : serveral issues, corrupt file? |

Answer» Hi, I'm new to this, but I really new some help. I have an HP laptop with Windows XP Media Center Edition 2002. I recently received a MESSAGE after restarting my computer telling me hpqtra08.exe - corrupt file. C:Docume~1\Randi\LOCAL~1Temp\MAR1C.temp is corrupt and UNREADABLE. Please run the chkdsk utility. I ran clean disk and remove some temp filles and old file. Could not defrag. C or D. Got a run chkdsk/f message. Tried to run chkdsk/f from the start menu but still GET the message when try to defrag. My cd/dvd player is running but not reconizing my cd but it does my dvd. Any help WOULD greatly be appreciated.
