I'm using windows Vista and can't remember where the setting is to allow each window to open fit to screen-vs-partial screen?
MAXIMIZE window and close it. Vista is much better with remembering, than previous Windows version.
If any problem, maximize the window and close it while holding CTRL key.we're talking internet explorer and windows explorer windows, I take it.Yes this is an online game site Pogo using Internet Explorer 8 (click on "play as a GUEST" to see the window size I'm reffering to). The main page fills my screen but when I select a game to play, it opens in a new window that fills about 1/3 of my screen. The maximize button does nothing - minimize button minimizes it to the system tray area. I can increase the window size some by setting the display resolution lower, but this lowers the PICTURE quality and still does no fill the screen completely.

If the new window won't maximize, it must be the game set that way.I was affraid of that. Oh well, maybe now I'll go get some higher powered eye glasses for my old eyes.
ALT+ENTER doesn't work?ALT + ENTER has no effect in this case.
I tried ALT + ENTER on other windows and it produces full screen. Selecting ALT + ENTER again RETURNS the window to the previous configuration.
GOOD information but not the culprit in this case.
