Solve : Setting WSID and Workstation in XP? |
|
Answer» I am trying to SET the WSID and Workstation to numbers in Microsoft XP and nomater what i set in the autoexec.bat file by typing: "SET WSID=64","SET WORKSTATION=64". I am tyring to use a program called Comcraft that is written in a really old version of Workstation Basic. It works great in Win98 but When I try in XP PROFESSIONAL it just picks some random number for the WSID ND Workstation. If anyone can help that WOULD be great. Thank you!Autoexec.bat and config.sys are not used in Windows XP. To set environment variables, right click |
