Answer» Alright thats GREAT never knew about this, but then again I've never really had to aim for data recovery either. Learn something new every day I guess
Would you happen to know some good sites to get them off the top of your head?newegg.I can vouch for them myself- they are especially handy when you have a lot of relatively large drives, such as in my case where I have three 160GB drives and 5+ 80GB drives... Don't recall ever having the cash to drop on those, but I have em now, so may as well use 'em for a small fee If you want it right away, any electronic store should do. Radio Shack has them. Thanks for the help everyone espeically BRONI who stuck with me the longest I Went and got the hard drive out and PICKED up an Enclosure from radio shack and we got all his AEM EMS tuning maps off the hard drive and he got his car tuned right RUNNING at its usual 12psi today.
Unfortunately me opening up the laptop so many times made the already weakening FFCs for the monitor display fail almost completely (really gotta mess with it to get a picture), so I guess the computer is just a paperweight now, not like it was a big loss anyways...just as long as we got the hard drive data Not bad news, afterall Thanks for posting back. I'm glad, you're alive, in the first place
