Solve : sif file missing or corrupt? |

Answer» okay! tried loading xp pro onto a NEW hard drive using the 6 floppy discs and the original xp pro cd which is liscensed.at the end of the 6th floppy when it goes to start the installation is COMES up with an error stating .sif file missing or corrupt,setup cannot continue. any help would be greatly appreciated but i do ask that nobody reply who wants to know my business and where or what i am doing.just some simple tips.why not change the boot sequence if APPLICABLE...and boot from cd rom...the sif error more info here>http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=224830 and we dont wish to know your bussiness or any one ELSES..we are all EQUAL in cyberspace... this link will also help>http://www.windowsreinstall.com/ |
