Solve : Silverlight issue?

Answer»

A computer running windows vista home premium sp2 32bit.
I attempted uninstall then install the new version of silverlight.
The update said that it failed to find a network resourse and game me a stupid DIALOG asking me where the msi was.
It was there and the installer still failed to install.
I tryed this http://blogs.msdn.com/b/rpomeroy/archive/2008/06/10/how-to-manually-clean-up-a-bad-silverlight-installation.aspx
This didn't work.
I attached a screen shot of add or remove programs.

[recovering disk space, attachment deleted by admin]Do you actually need Silverlight? If not, why not just leave it uninstalled? Yes I need it.
But there is some kind of problem with the installation.Try This...

Which method did you try ? ?The batch file methodWith the little snippets of info provided this solution MAY take some time...
What happened after you ran it? ?
Any error messages as are mentioned in the link ? ?
Did you re-boot after running the fix ? ?
Did you Add/Remove Silverlight and re-install ? ?
etc. etc.I rebooted and in add/remove it would not remove it before and after the batch filein the batch file i'll put a >>log.txt at the end of every LINE and post the results when i run it again. log.txt ended up blank
