Answer» I am using a Dell laptop, Windows XP. My 3.5 year old was left unattended with the computer last night and when I WENT to use it later, everything was tiny...icons, fonts, internet pages, etc. How do I get them back to normal? I tried making fonts bigger and using control + together and that works when I'm on the net but nowhere else. I feel like I'm in mini land!!! Help!!Sounds like he or she somehow changed the resolution, though it's not that easy for a 3 year old to do. Anyway, just right-click anywhere on the desktop and choose Properties. Then go to the Settings Tab and pick a lower resolution.Tried that and it looks distorted if I move it in any way.I don't have a Dell laptop in front of me at the moment, but there should be a KEY with FN in blue letters (that's the function key). A number of other keys will also have blue secondary inscriptions on them. See if any look like they will increase / decrease screen or resolution size. If so, depress the FN key and simultaneously depress or tap the other key and see what effect it has on the screen. |
