My keyboard is very slow- drops lots of letters- is better if I type very slowly but still drops letters- bought a new keyboard but that didn't help- seems better on some websites and worse on others- also having problems closing some pages- I have to go to task manger to shut down to close tabs.Is it only on websites or is it also in apps (Word, notepad, etc)?

Run full scans with BOTH your AV and with either Malware Bytes or Super AntiSpywareNot in word- WEB sites only- but not this website- yahoo email and facebook is what I use most and it is really bad- also my son's school website- this web site is not doing it at all- AVG last ran this am and the problem is about two weeks old- I'm rescanning now. Any more suggestions? I'm quite COMPUTER illiterate but am moderately intelligent so with a little help I should be able to do anything suggested.Does this happen in all browsers or just IE? Firefox and Opera are well known and excellent alternatives - and they are free. They will not replace Internet Explorer, just give you an alternative OPTION. Download either (or both) and install.I installed firefox and the problem seems to be gone. You might want to try updating java.
