SuperFinder only allows one to delete files one at a time, but the one I selected got the "do you want to send XXX to the recycle bin?" message

I'm holding off on that for a bit though.

edit: it looks like Windows search will let me select and delete all at onceOK.Broni,
I'm going to leave the UBCD files alone for now. If I delete them, I'll never figure out what's going on. They don't seem to be doing any harm.

I did make a "print screen" of both search results. I'll attach or insert into message if you want & can INSTRUCT how.

I hate riddles, but love solutions.

they've been like that for years. Always envious, never quite industrious enough to be envied, except by a few whose envy means about as much as UMM... Something INSIGNIFICANT, I guess.
