Answer» Just lately my system tray take AGES to load, and half the items dont load, usually my sound and graphics dont load in. i REGULARLY check startup in msconfig, and i only have handfull of things starting there. the items i should have loading in are: AVG pro - anti virus Nvidia settings cmedia mixer skype skypemate - usb phone software. usually only avg loads in If i log out and log in they all load in about 10 seconds system is: Windows xp home sp2 fully updated Athlon xp2200 on asrock K7VT4A+ 512meg pc2100 ( 1 stick) nvidia fx 5500 GPU (latest drivers) CMI8738 audio maxtor 40gig system (18gig free) maxtor 120 gig documents (100 gig free) LG CDRW / pioneer 108 dvd rwwhat protections do you have other than AVG?? spyware ectt. is your computer clean of infectionI'd remove both the C_Media and NVidia items...both notoriously SLOW loading and ne need for them to run 24/7...
