Answer» I recently starting having the problem of some prgrams not opening. They are usually newly installed and may or may not freeze my computer. I am running Windows XP. I did recently have a virus that has been removed and this started not too long afterwards. SYSTEM restore will not open EITHER. Any SUGGESTIONS?What kinds of programs still open? What kinds don't open? Did you secure your computer after the removal of the virus? Have you scanned your computer for viruses/root kits/etc.? Who's your favorite of the seven dwarfs?
