I recently installed the soundmax driver for an asus m2n32 deluxe. I'm running a creative x-fi soundcard. after running the driver(asus) i have no sound. im guessing i did not need to install this. I run the creative test and i have sound but only during the test and nothing else
everything says the device is working properly . i DISABLED the asus driver but no luck. I'm not familiar on how to remove the program on vista. I TRIED asus help site but it never WORKS. i tried to reload the creative drivers but still nothin. Any suggestions would be helpfulGo to Device Manager, uninstall your sound device, restart computer.Go to control panal. Select Sound and AUDIO Devices. Select the Audio. Set the soundcard as default. It should work.
