Answer» Hi there! I'm looking for some help playing videos.
I have an HP laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium.
Two days ago my WINDOW media PLAYER was working fine for playing avi and rar files that i downloaded.
But yersterday I went to play a video and only got sound but no visual.
Early in the day i had downloaded an update for NVIDIA and also downloaded a trail version of CHUZZLE (game)
I thought the problem MIGHT be the download of the NVIDIA update and i did a sytem RESTORE to a time before the update and game were installed........but i didn't FIX the problem.
Any advice? I would love to get this going asap!

SheleenaFirst of all WMP doesn't play .rar files.
Then, it looks like your codecs got messed up.
Download, and install K-Lite Codec Pack: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm
