This is really stressing me out... the sound on my computer SOMETIMES stop responding I could be playing a song or movie and it just stops working all of a sudden. I even restore my computer and it still does it.Did this just start, lovely Anna, or did it always do this? If it just started, what is NEW since it last worked properly (new hw, sw, virus, error, new driver, etc)?I recently put the sims2 game back on my computer other than that it's just windows updates but this computer is always doing somthing in the backround...and i put safari on my computer also...Any ERRORS in Device Manager? Have you tried updating the sound driver?No I haven't updated the sound device.. would I have to buy a device or would I get the update off my computer's WEBSITE?I did an updated in device manager for the sound and it said it the sound device was already updated.Go to the website of your sound card MANUFACTURER and download and install the latest driver.

ARE THERE ANY ERRORS IN DEVICE MGR?No I haven't see any error...I have version 4.336.7.61 I found a 4.8.0 version online...
