Hello. I'm using sound recorder on windows XP and am trying to record sounds coming from my COMPUTER.

But everytime I hit record it takes sounds from the microphone. Is there anyway to switch it so it will record sounds coming from the computer?

Are you LAUNCHING a FILE?

By this, I mean, is it a sound file or mp3 or wav file?Look in your Volume Control. (In the system TRAY next to the clock).

Suggestion: Record with Audacity.
