Solve : Stack overlow at line: 104? |

Answer» As per usual, I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place. I tried doing a search of this website, but I didn't understand how to use the information I saw. The information on this website says to go to config.sys and change the amount of stack [memory?]. I typed config.sys in "Run" but I don't know how to find the place I need to go to check the amount of Stack I have or to change it. I don't know what is being "stacked" or why I'm getting this message now. Since I don't know what the stack is, I don't know if there's anything I can do to reduce my stack needs. The information you found on CH regarding "stack overflow" errors were for the DOS message; this sounds like a script error. Many people have solved this issue by deleting their cookies, hence why I offered Ccleaner. Quote from: Junkz on March 08, 2010, 12:14:41 PM Many people have solved this issue by deleting their cookies I highly doubt that.http://www.computing.net/answers/windows-xp/stack-overflow-at-line-14/182627.html This is one example. But as it mentions there could be many reasons this stack error is happening. I offered one solution. >__>One example is not many. Regardless, it is not likely cookie deletion has anything to do with fixing a stack overflow. Nor will "CLEANING" a registry help anything.Just offering some help. Instead of crapping on others lol.I suspect Starwind51 is looking for their "flak" jacket...I hid out till objects stopped flying. ( lol ) Actually I have to wait till this happens again and take notes. I think both times that it happened recently I was doing a net search for the same thing, but I don't remember what. This WOULD lead me to believe it is a poorly constructed web page and probably nothing to do with your machine... |
